I have been very busy at work putting together a Waxy Dragon anthology, even though we have not debuted her initial book yet. Roger sent me the rough draft of her next story, and I had two more that were previously written and needed some revamping, but were otherwise a great fit. I'm within a few days work of having an initial draft done, and then it goes back to Roger for his comments, and we'll do a final editing pass. Even if this sits a while before it gets published, I feel great that we have a second volume all set up for her. Waxy was the original Companion Dragon in the series, and she's very near and dear to all our hearts.
Copper Dragon has an initial story already written, but it's a bit short and I had wanted to follow up on it anyway. That will likely be my next Companion Dragons Tale, because I am eager to introduce both her and her human companion Nigel Gillette to you. I also have a good collection of Lazlo stories that would make an interesting anthology as well. The plan at this point is one digest length novel to introduce each dragon and companion(s), and then continue via either anthologies or further novels. Oh, and as I've mentioned before, there will be crossovers and team-ups!
Each one of these little dragons is unique and has a great back story, so I think you'll enjoy them. We have many more where these came from! So keep an eye on this page.
